Mission Statement

Women of Vision exists to educate and motivate women to share their faith and resources. They also bring tangible evidence of Christ’s love to empower impoverished, oppressed, and persecuted women and their families throughout the world.

WOV is a voluntary program of World Vision, a Christian humanitarian organization that has served the poor since 1950 through emergency relief and long-term development. Individuals who are involved in Women of Vision represent various ages and backgrounds. What they hold in common is a commitment to Christ and the desire to love those who are oppressed and in need throughout the world. And they are determined to make a difference both individually and together. Members actively seek ways to use their God-given resources to improve the quality of life of women and children who are living in poverty and despair.

Women of Vision Chapters

Women of Vision chapters meet regularly to:

  • Educate chapter members and others on the plight of impoverished women and children around the world through ongoing study and service to World Vision projects
  • Advocate on behalf of poverty’s woman.
  • Raise funds to support World Vision projects that benefit hurting families in developing nations through personal giving and conducting special events or benefits that raise funds for selected projects.
